70's era cool meets the darkness of 1980's NYC. M.A.V. was born and raised some 6 hours out though, in Rochester New York by a single mother. Growing up in a broken home more than prepared him for what was on the other side of those doors, and in time he would bring the outside world inside.

     Music was an escape, where he could let his already vivid imagination take him wherever the music would lead him. whether it be a trip down the thruway over the George Washington Bridge into the boroughs or out west to the city of Compton. Music was just, music! 

      As time went on he would begin crafting his own tales that often mirrored those of the artists he once looked up to. What was once an escape had become much too relatable and was now his reality.
